East Valley Water District was incorporated in 1954 under County Water District Laws. We provide water and sanitary sewer services to the City of Highland and the eastern portions of the City of San Bernardino, with a service population of approximately 108,000.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The District is seeking a collaborative, team-oriented individual skilled in developing and executing creative outreach strategies to strengthen the District’s engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, exercise sound independent judgment, and possess a deep understanding of public relations programs and community engagement initiatives.
Candidates must possess the equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field and five (5) years of increasingly responsible, professional level experience in public relations, public information, community relations, or outreach activi-ties with two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience in this or a closely related field. Candidates must also possess a valid California Class C driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
The annual salary range for this position in Fiscal Year 2024/25 is $109,803—$133,494. The actual salary is dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the individual selected.
