The City of Oxnard is seeking a talented and creative Communications Coordinator or Senior Communications Coordinator to lead the creation of dynamic, engaging, and visually compelling digital content. This role strengthens the City's connection with residents, businesses, and stakeholders by crafting effective communication strategies and maintaining a strong digital presence about the services, programs and progress of various public projects throughout the City.
Under general supervision or direction, this position will develop and implement public information campaigns, manage digital platforms, and ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all communication channels. The Communications Coordinator or Senior Communications Coordinator will provide additional leadership related to digital strategy, content management, and digital governance.
