Public Information Officer I/II

This position will be housed in the Communications Office but will work in close coordination with the Community Investments Office to publicize air quality projects funded by penalty revenues from air quality incident enforcement actions. These projects are designed to mitigate the impacts of pollution in affected communities. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and executing outreach campaigns for grant-funded programs or similar community-based initiatives, ideally in a government or nonprofit setting. Familiarity with communicating the goals, progress, and outcomes of funded projects to diverse audiences—including community members, partner organizations, and elected officials—is highly desirable.
